Let’s think about it starting from baking powder, caramel, malt syrup, fructose, cookies, beer, margarine, infant formula, corn flakes , corn flour tortillas, corn oil and a lot (I seriously mean) a lot more. Oil with low smoke point such as olive oil, at high heat it can breaking down and forming free radicals which will cause oxidative damage and eventually will responsible for cancer.

So please make sure use only high smoke point cooking oil like corn and canola when you are going to cook at high temperature.
